Day 1 - Arrive in Jorhat by air and travel to Majuli Island. Known for its affinity to a radical form of Vaishnavism introduced by social reformer and spiritual guru of Assam Srimanta Shankar Dev, Majuli is the epicenter of the confluence of Assam's diverse cultures and heritages. Being the second largest riverine Island of the world, Majuli has been shortlisted by UNESCO as World Heritage Site although it is already threatened by the massive erosion caused by Brahmaputra. Day 2 - Explore the various monasteries, mask painters and potters' workshops, Mishing tribal village. Overnight at Homestay .
Day 3 - After breakfast travel to Jorhat. Check-in at Gibbon Homestay. Overnight at Homestay.
Day 4 - Morning enjoy a walking safari in Holongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary to look out for the endangered Primates including India's only Ape Western Hoolock Gibbon. Seven species of most endangered Primates of Asia are found here. After lunch visit to the historical ruins of Shibsagar – the erstwhile seat of the Ahom dynasty. Overnight at Jorhat.
Day 5 - Transfer to Jorhat or Dibrugarh airport.
